Actress Anne Heche dies at 53 a week after her car crash

It's wierd how this story progressed. At first it didn't seem like she was in serious condition, and then suddenly it was serious and she was in a coma. Important lesson kids, don't drive while you're coked out of your mind.

it was weird too how there was like a video from a chopper at the scene and she was on the gurny and like ripped the blankets off and sat up. I'll try and find the video.

yeah i agree...being high a kite on coke and fentanyl i guess I really don't have a ton of remorse for her but it's still just a sad situation. Her career and personal life were always just so strange and up and down.

She's great in Donnie Brasco and Wag the Dog. That's about all I got.

I enjoyed her in the movie with Harrison Ford where they survive a plane crash on a deserted island. Can think of the name of it.

She apparently was on some sort of podcast just a little bit before her crash, they were drinking wine and she was saying some strange things I guess, sounds like she was in a pretty dark place personally. Still, hard to have much sympathy, it's just dumb luck that she didn't take out some mom or dad walking their kid on that street.

Very sad, RIP.

I was impressed by how well the Mini Cooper held up after being driven thru a house. And from the doorbell cameras, she was really flying.
 
I thought she was stellar in “Cedar Rapids”.

There aren’t many that would even consider that role.
 
She had serious mental health and substance abuse issues. Chicken Egg debate can commence about that. Sad story-

Glad nobody else was hurt. Sad that it happened, but it's sort of a cause/effect thing when you drive under the influence of any substance.

I wonder if they had her completely covered on the gurney due to severe burns. I mean, that might be a reason to have someone wrapped up in essentially a body bag as they wheel her to the ambulance - but I’m just speculating, I don’t know, and it was really something to see the paramedics with something that looks like a DOA and then suddenly BOOM! GET THIS DAMN THING OFF ME!
 
I don't know if Anne Heche crash was even in LA but there's an even crazier crash here where a deranged woman seems to have used her car as a weapon.

Locally more people actually talking about this one. Nurse from Houston supposedly had one hand out the window taking iphone video of the chaos she created.
