Tech has now established a NIL Fund.

We don't have to compete at the same level as the big programs, but we do need to have something. This example from Texas Tech seems doable. It's not really big money, $2.5 million dollars.

I'm pretty sure our NIL collective looks something like this.

Starting at about the 1 minute mark...

I told my husband when we win the lottery, we need these NIL kind of deals with our kids to transfer them money without paying gift tax.:p He says the rich people version is fake companies.

It sure appears the Matador Collective did their homework: measured what each donor gets, what's the ROI, etc!

I am being sarcastic.

That seems crazy to me. Where on earth is this money coming from? No med or law school at TT, so not sure who is funding all of this.
It's not really that much money. It's $2.5 million, which don't get me wrong, is not chump change, but not some unattainable number for a collective to bring in.

Oil, this is what price gouging at the pump buys you.
West TX oil.
It must be. I read that the guy heading up their collective, Cody Campbell, alone made a $25 million donation to the university to have part of the stadium named after him. You don't get that wealthy just by holding a BA in Communications from TT.

I'm kind of coupling it in with the 200 mil they are spending on stadium upgrades.
The whole complex kind of looks like a fancier JT area with the practice facility, SEZ, new performance center.
