Went through every team to break down their returners, transfer additions, freshmen/JUCO additions and who left.

Thanks for the rundown Jared...I think as ISU roster sits it is mroe talented than KSU and WV... Im not convinced OU or OSU much better honestly...

Had ISU landed an impact scorer they would be right in the thick of 3rd-5th in conf IMO.

ISU will have the length, front court, athleticism and depth to compete night in and night out...big ? is who is going to be the alpha in the back court.

It is really ****** that Tre King did not get a waiver to start in November..I have a feeling he's going to be a effective scorer at the wing posting up or off dribble but he's gonna need several games to get ready..

Players I won't miss seeing ISU playing against:

Baylor - Mayer and Akinjo
KU - Braun
KSU - Pack
OU - Harkless
OSU - Likikele
Texas - Andrew Jones (feels like he's been there forever)
Tech - Arms (I would say McCullar, but....)

I like Baylor to win the Big12. After that seems like TCU, Texas & TT should be the second tier. Not sure what to think of KU. History says they will be in the second tier- but not sure I see any All-Big 12 upperclassman on their roster. Their freshman will need to step up to finish near the top of the Big12.

The middle tier, which will be teams fighting for an NCAA berth should include ISU, OU and OSU. I like our chances to finish 6th and maybe higher if the roster gels.

I would guess WVU and KSU round out the bottom of the Big12.

EDIT: After thinking about it more, I would drop TT into the middle tier with ISU, OU & OSU. They have a great transfer class, but not so sure about their returning guys. Maybe some of the Beard magic wears off year 2 of Adams reign.

I would never count bill self and Kansas out of tier 1

I'm projecting order of finish KU, Texas, Baylor, then maybe Tech/TCU.

TCU seems to be the "darling" pick, and returns bulk of scoring/experience, but ... I don't trust it as Big 12 title contention/high-seed.
