Can’t even spell “lead” right? What a loss!

Ahhhh, lede is a journalistic term, enticement to read story, which we did!! ;)
I learned about the relatively new word "lede". Started being used in the '70's, but wasn't entered into the dictionary until about 2008. Interesting.

I prefer the old fashioned spelling of "lead" but it really makes no difference to me. Just shows you a little more about the sometimes convoluted English language.

Sounds like an addition by subtraction regarding the AP vote.

Yeah, well wife has Doctorate, retired University Professor and Copy Editor, plus speaks five foreign languages. When you play scrabble with her, after about three turns, you hope the damn dog jumps on the table and pees on the tiles. Thus I knew the term lede.

I'll hold off a bit, until I'm flooded with inquiries. :D
Inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry,
inquiry, inquiry, inquiry, inquiry,
