So are all of the women’s games at the same time as the men’s because of the OUT scandal (ESPN saying f ISU), or just a coincidence? You may prefer it but I find it very annoying. Fail to see how ESPN is maximizing viewership with this approach. I record the games but would rather watch live.

It's because ESPN and CBS are two different entities, who can each do as they please to maximize their own viewership.

ESPN is putting the AP #1 and #2 teams on back-to-back. That's a much better business decision than putting them on two different channels at the same time.

Thanks. Guess it’s a good annoyance to have. This team is special. Go Cyclones!

Anyone else getting random targeted promotions on Twitter? Thought this was random from Wendy’s lol

Double annoyed with ESPN right now.
First, games on Friday night are at the same time as the other regional while games on Saturday all appear to have a separate time slot. My second reason, I just checked my Hulu sports schedule for games and they are displaying the chicken hawk for our womens game instead of the I-State logo. They got the mens game right.

Some news in Diew and Jordao

Check out this article from Des Moines Register:

Iowa State women's basketball team takes aim at Creighton in Sweet 16

I found this most interesting.

"Very interchangeable parts, offensively," Fennelly said. "They run a lot of stuff that's going to be very hard to guard, stuff that we don't see a lot of in the Big 12. They invert their offense. Their guards post up, their big guys step away from the basket. It's very efficient."

Could make Nyamer Diew a key to the game as she is probably best of our bigs at coming out and playing D on their bigs.

FYI: Tonight's PBP for ESPN2 (Courtney Lyle) is the same one who called the ISU-WVU football game on ESPN+ last fall.

Plan accordingly.

Should we be concerned about Creighton defense since they did a very good job on one Clark? (Considered by the media as one of the best ever - I disagree)

I was surprised by how easily the gals dispatched Georgia. I am guessing will be a little more competition, but am not expecting any difficulty unless we are shooting like they blindfolded everyone.

It'll be good D but the teams that have abused us this yr are BIG teams (Baylor,Texas) from what little I've saw of Creighton I think it will be a dandy game. Already getting nervous for this one.

The difference is…Iowa is a two trick pony. Creighton took away one of them and the other couldn’t do it by herself. ISU is a multiheaded dragon. Every one of the players on the court can shoot and light you up.
