Showing my age here, I read the Register’s article on Marcus and his close relationship with his grandfather. Turns out I knew his grandfather growing up. He was a few years older, but we were from the same small town, albeit Michael lived in the country on farm. He was one of the handful of the older kids in school I looked up to. I’ll be cheering on Marcus even more knowing he’s wrestling in honor of Michael.
