Some extra context from the top comment

"Jack was on a jet ski and was coming out of the cove into the flow of traffic and came in contact with an Envision, according to a witness who was riding behind him. Jack was run over and hit a propeller."

Sounds horrifying. Hope he ends up alright

That's terrifying. Report says he had a life jacket on... might've saved his life here. Get well and get back on the field, kid.

Man, the number of stupid things I’ve done on the water when I was young, I’m lucky some bad accident never happened to me.

Get well, young man.

Making contact with a boat prop is almost always major damage. I have a boat and my biggest fear is running over someone.

Sad to hear. Hope he recovers 100%. Looks like he was with someone who was airlifted from the scene.

Will keep them both in my prayers.

Sounds like Jack and another guy were riding on the Jet Ski. The other guy was life flighted while Jack was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The other young man has had his leg amputated and is on a ventilator.

Hope all involved will make a good recovery.

The Coralville reservoir is very busy on summer weekends. Stopped going out there several years back because of all the boat traffic and chop.

Edit: This took place in Lake of the Ozarks.

I love to jet ski, but on weekends there two major problems. One involves drivers not paying attention and the other is speed.

I've only done it a few times, but even when I have, it's generally very early in the morning before the main traffic hits the waters.

Hope all involved will make a good recovery.

It happened in Missouri.
