Hello fellow Cyclone fans,

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place to post (mods: please remove, if not), but I'm trying to help out my family, and I know Cyclone Fanatic has rallied behind good causes in the past.

My brother, his 5-year-old son, and his in-laws were in serious car accident where their vehicle was rear-ended by a semi truck. Thankfully all four survived but were hospitalized.

Hopefully they all can eventually make a full recovery, but it is a trying time right now. We've established a fund to support them with the major expenses that will be coming their way.

If you're interested and able, please consider donating.

Again, sorry for the solicitation, and a genuine thank you for reading.
Hope to see everyone back at Jack Trice this fall!

Glad everyone is ok. Based on the article, it seems like the semi driver’s insurance should cover medical expenses and loss of income. Fingers crossed!

Small world. I grew up with your brothers brother in-law.

Although true...that will take a long time to get done.

Wish them a full and speedy recovery. Any idea of who the truck belonged to? If it was a larger carrier they should have dash camera's and if the driver was at fault, as I would assume they would be, your family could be looking at a pretty decent settlement on the back end as well. There are a lot of lawyers that specialize in these kinds of cases against larger carriers. Hope they are recovering well.

I'm not sure on the details of the semi truck. Hopefully things work out in the end to get medical bills, etc. covered, but for now we're just focused on getting everyone healthy again. Definitely lucky they're all still with us! Thanks for the kind words.
