If 40-50 athletes came out and criticized CMC and his staff of being racist would you want him fired? After all the disgusting things that have happened in Iowa City their fans appear to be backing Ferentz and victim blaming instead of calling for his job

I’m proud to be a Cyclone. I would want anything that would diminish that pride to be dealt with immediately. Athletics success is a lot of fun, but it would be hollow if I felt I could not be proud of my alma mater.
ISU is the only P5 school in the country to have its stadium named after an African-American I believe (not to mention a player who was here in the 1920s). One of our most famous alumni is a black man who went to school in Ames in the 19th century. We're not going to dishonor these people...
It would suck, just like it does for Hawk fans right now but IMO there just isn't any other choice than to part ways.

If it happened like it has with Iowa, I'd want him fired. There would be some instances of racism occurring where I think I would be okay with the coach keeping his or her job, typically those mistakes people make due to biases of which they may not be aware. I mean, they're racist, but they're not irredeemable like the people in some of these stories out of Iowa.
With all the victim blaming going on I don't know that we need to be sugar coating things to make KF look better
There are instances of unintentionally being racially insensitive that I could forgive. The situation in Clemson is a great example. A player said a phrase saying he blocked the wrong "N*", and the coach responded by saying "We don't say the N* around here" back to the player to stop it's usage. He also profusely apologized all year for actually saying that word aloud.

Yeah, 50 plus former players stepping up to complain about the staff making them feel slighted because of their race isn't an accident.

I’d almost go so far as to say that the upcoming season should be cancelled if that were the case.
