I want to start something fun in these scary times of Covid-19. I had this weekend off which my plan was to watch the first and second rounds. So since there is no tournament this year. I am asking the following.

Name your best first round games in the past, maybe an upset, good game that went into overtime. If there is a link to watch please include that so I can watch on Thursday and Friday. You can add first four games as well.

Lets have fun with this.

The 2006 George Mason Final Four run was a blast. Specifically, that Elite 8 UConn game where they were given no shot was a fun one.

Great so far. I will add one. I saw this game while I was in high school. I missed part of a class but was ok cause the teacher was watching with me.

I will plan on doing this for each round. Keep em' coming.

Doesn’t match the OP criteria, except the pundits did see it as an upset, but if someone could put the 2000 game against UCLA up here, I’d appreciate it. I could watch that game a million times.

Went back and watched the game against the team that must not be named. We had the ball with 36 seconds left (and a 35 second shot clock) and the team that must not be named had 2 fouls to give and we rushed to take a shot. Why did we not just run clock and let them have to foul?

I REALLY REALLY need to stop watching these videos you guys are posting. It's making me brutally sad that we won't have this come Thursday, sigh.

We also never took a time out down the stretch when the team was clearly out of sync and flailing. Then again, if the legend of "I'm sick of coaching you guys" thing is true, maybe nobody gave a **** by that point.

I never realized they did away with the ncaa tournament vault until the other day when I had the same idea as OP. It's pretty hard to find full games now.

If you want a few near-miss examples for your playlist: Almost 30 years before UMBC’s historic upset, two #1’s narrowly escaped -- in the same tournament; one on Thursday night, one on Friday night. (Another 1 seed, Illinois, won by only 6).
