If Wiggington would have came back I think he would have had an opportunity to average between 20-25 ppg. Halliburton is still maybe the better all around player but he is more of a complimentary offensive player than the dominant one.

He gone. Let it go. He could have gotten another injury and had his future ruined. Worthless exercise.
Wigginton was going to transfer or go pro. After the way Prohm handled his return from injury he was never coming back to ISU.
He would have totally changed this team. And I think he would have been around 24 ppg with Haliburton hitting him for 3's and on cuts to the basket.
Exactly, LW was not even a starter last year. Why would he stick around after that debacle?

The idea of Wigginton coming back is a cool thought but it was never going to happen. The only reason he returned for his sophomore year was to prove to NBA scouts that he was more than an undersized scorer and could run an offense. But after how last season unfolded, Wigginton was NEVER going to come back. He purposely chose to go to the G-League, (he knew he was getting drafted), than to come back and play for Prohm.

Maybe, but he has a nice contract and is getting invited to LeBron’s birthday parties. If he can get some playing time next year he could get a decent 2nd contract the next year which could outweigh anything if he stayed. I think he’s going to be one wealthy dude.
I know Wigginton wasn't always a fan favorite due to his defensive effort but man that injury really screwed him over for his career. I just hope he gets a chance to get called up and earn some real money

I'm sorry but these posts are so dumb. No one here expects JP to read this board and make a decision. We all know that a conversation on here isn't going to have any bearing on JP's decision. This is a message board. It is a forum for people to talk to each other about Iowa State athletics. That is what is happening here-- people are offering up their opinion on Wigginton's departure. Who cares? What exactly do you expect from a message board? Is there a game today we are supposed to be at supporting the team?
