To me there was never any less than 100% to root for Nebraska. I'll never forget what Hoiberg has done for ISU as a player and a coach.
Does this really need to be answered? Haven't you been around enough hawk fans to know?

Nebraska. I can't understand holding any ill will towards Fred.
No pull one way or another, in matchups between these two teams, I usually just root for the upset.
For me it's simple, if you don't want to be at ISU or think you are to good for us then I'm not going to cheer for you.

Nebraska was utterly unlikable long before he went to Lincoln.
I assume you won't be cheering for Wigginton, Horton-Tucker or David Montgomery either.
If there was a Cyclone fan that was so butthurt about Fred still that they cheered for Iowa then I dont even know what to say
If they transferred to a different school I wouldn't cheer for them. As for as LW and THT I don't even pay attention since they are in the G league, maybe when they get to the big boy ranks I'll follow them.
I was fine was Fred being in the Pros, but going back to college changed that for me.
it doesn’t benefit iowa state in recruiting for Nebraska to be any good, so therefore we all should want him to fail.
The man was paid many, many millions of dollars to run one of the most historic franchises in the history of the sport. You're really going to blame him for that? Would you have preferred he not come here and we continued to toil in complete irrelevancy?
