Might be good for the mental health of (some) fans.
Cant believe how “not ready to play” Clemson was last night. That’s what it was for them early right?
I 100% get why coaches wouldn't like spring games. I doubt they're any more useful than practices, from a coach's standpoint. I'm certain that a spring game has no bearing whatsoever on readiness for fall.
That said, when your calling card as a program is your outstanding fan support, why not reward the fans by throwing them a bone? Even as a fan I never really found the game all that useful myself, but it was always fun to get out and enjoy some decent weather for the first time in spring, drink a few beers, throw a few bags, and watch a little meaningless football.

I can only imagine the complete insanity that would ensue if even a backup lineman got rolled up on and got injured.
Actually watching Breece Hall tear an ACL live would hurt me a lot
The staff and Campbell don’t want a spring game so it won’t happen. Not a big deal. They should do a more inclusive fan event.
Definitely this program overall has definitely not progressed under this staff. We’re at like Chizik level right now, so we definitely need a spring game because not having one isn’t helping.
