PODCAST: Some commentary on ISU's 89-59 win over IPFW

I think Prohm is just going to have to let some guys like Lewis play despite their defensive issues and just hope that they can score more than they give up. The shooting against Iowa would have made this an 8 point win, maybe. This is the unfortunate part about having to take transfers or having guys leave early for the pros. Just no continuity to the program at this point in time. The whole team has to learn how to play together all over again every year, instead of a couple guys being plugged in.
That number means that we would have beaten 94% of the teams that played today, right?
Re the podcast; I’d have to disagree- I saw little from the PFW game to get excited about with the exception of Lewis having another strong game and TH having his usual great game. PFW was terrible.
We only shot better cause of those 2. Still no change to the lineup. Nixon still chucking terrible shots. Bolton still struggling from 3. Conditt only got 3 shots, and iirc he shot about every time he got the ball down low. Trying some press was nice I guess.

The only outcome from this one might be more floor time for Lewis and more press. Conditt probably won't start until about five games left and Nixon and Bolton will continue chucking with consistent 1/7 3 point games.
