Article says Nixon is a grad transfer. Why did he sit out last year?

Interesting to see Conditt last night after his second foul call. He was just pleading with Prohm to leave him in. And when Prohm didn't, they had a long talk on the sidelines before he took his seat on the bench. Then, a little later at the beginning of a timeout after another bad foul call, Conditt stepped way out on the court pulling guys into the huddle rather than let them stay out on the court arguing with refs. Wonder if he was telling them pretty much what Prohm told him.
