So you wont be able to stream ISU basketball games on espn+ then right?
I don’t know what your capabilities are but I’ve found that people vastly over-estimate what they need to stream successfully.
Who knows. Last time I tried at home to stream espn plus it was not working. That was last week on my phone.
My direct tv on demand sometimes has trouble working right now.
The most I have ever seen from my mediacom is 144mps. Many times 72mps.
I won’t comment but I bet some of the more technical gurus in this site could help you because that should be plenty of speed to stream perfectly.
I would love to do it but am afraid with 3 TVs, kindles, 1 PC and our phones it would be overwhelmed? Would love suggestions.
Dont need much to stream, but if you want to be as live as possible fast internet is needed. If you dont mind a 5 minute delay. Satelite internet can work. I've streamed where the broadcast was behind even the espn game tracker.
A single stream of a standard HD show will be happy around 3-4 Mb/s is all. Multiple streams totally depend on network stability (modem and router).
Streaming is notably more reliable over wired network, though, particularly live event streaming that can't be buffered ahead of time. Wireless brings both latency and packet drops with it just as a consequence of the technology.
That is more than plenty to stream. I would look at the hardware you are using to see if there are any issues with your modem, router etc that are causing issues with your streaming ability.
Lucky for you, your team isn't on BTN this week. Just checked, the game is on ESPN at 11.
Yep ESPN at 2:30 TOE is on ESPN2 this week and Fox next week
This would be my guess, a lot of times people don't update their router, and older ones can have a harder time keeping up with multiple devices.
I'll second this...just became aware that this is a thing...and a remedy...
