ISU has signed a transfer pitcher who only played basketball her freshman season at Bradley.

The article says that she will provide immediate help as ISU graduated two of their top pitchers. Does this mean that she will not have to sit out a transfer year? Is this because you don't have to in softball or because she was not on the softball team at Bradley. And, if she can play right away, will she have four years to play four since she has not used a year of eligibility in softball? (Kind of like Stevie Johnson playing a year of football after exhausting his basketball eligibility at ISU.)

So many questions...

I believe she won't have to sit out.

There was some talk about this on the WBB forum. I think she will be four years eligible with a chance to play with her little sister, who is also a 2019 signee, for four years. Kinda cool.

Think she has four to play four. As a true freshman, her sister will have 4 to play 5.
