Uniform combos last year

Here's the different uniform combos we wore last season. There were only 10 different ones. What are your thoughts, or ranking?

SDSU (cancelled-wore R-R-R, see OU below)

Iowa (R-W-R).....

Oklahoma (R-R-R)....

Akron (R-R-W)....

TCU (Chrome R-W-W)....

Okie St (W-W-R)....

WV (All Black)....

TT (W-R-W)....

Kansas (W-R-R)....

Baylor (B-R-R)....

Texas (W-W-R) same as Okie State above

Kansas State (All Black) same as WV above

Drake (R-R-R) same as OU above

WSU (All White).....

For me I think my ranking would be....

1. KU game (W-R-R)
2. TT (W-R-W)
3. Akron (R-R-W)
4. Okie St (W-W-R)
5. WSU (All White)
6. WV (All Black) I actually really like these, but put them here since black is not one of our colors.
7. Iowa (R-W-R)
8. OU (R-R-R)
9. TCU (Chrome R-W-W) not a fan of chrome helmets, although it's not bad with all white.
10. Baylor (B-R-R) last and definitely least. I don't like mixing the black with anything else.

I didn't know people's opinion could be wrong, but here we are. JP said the black with red got the most positive response by fans. They are damn sexy with the black accents. I hope we open up next year with them.

Who ever said anything about anyone's opinion being wrong? I just gave my opinion and asked others to respond with theirs, that's all.

If everyone else thinks the B-R-R is their favorite, so be it. Nobody is right or wrong here, that's why it's called opinion. I was just curious to see what others on here thought.

It did look like we were going to add some new white pants to the black uniform this year if I'm not mistaken, right? That could look really sweet. I'm just still not totally sold on adding black to our color scheme yet. I'm slowly getting there, but I'm still somewhat traditional too.

Btw... on the Akron pic of Peavy, I loved those yellow sleeves some guys wore with the red jersey and helmet.... I thought that looked sweet. Some did it to honor CBA I think, which is awesome of course, but I think they should wear them more often with the red jersey especially.

I think they were all good. The one change I would make is on the all black. Use the helmet that has the logo in school colors. It would really pop against the all black.

W/C/W is my personal fave but I like how we mixed it up and hope we keep doing that.

That is correct, although our idea of "cardinal" has surely changed dramatically over the years, hasn't it?

I actually rank the KU version the least. Strange how opinions vary.

And second goes to any of the combos where the helmet and pants match with the jersey different. (W/C/W or C/W/C)

Echoing similar comment, all-black is well-done, but it doesn’t crack my top 5 since it’s devoid of school colors.

The black helmet we wore against Baylor ended up being my favorite of the season. Looked much nicer than the white logo on the black helmet worn against WV/KSU.
