Against all odds, man, he just bet on himself. Period,” said Mitrou-Long. “He had some great offers overseas, people pulling him here and there, saying he should have done this or that. And ultimately, if you believe in yourself, and you’re honest and real with yourself, then you can make it happen. He gave himself realistic goals, and followed up with the work. That’s just all it was.”

All that crew that has gone from the Hoiberg-Prohm era to the NBA has really put in the work. They've all improved so many aspects of their game - I never dreamed that Abdel Nader would be a rotation player in the NBA. When I saw Deonte Burton in the Summer League after his senior year, he looked so lost that I was sure he'd never sniff an NBA court in the regular season. It's a credit to all of them that they're living their dream.

I hope someone gives Naz a chance; I have a feeling his time with the Jazz might be done as they look at a different 2-way player to see if he has a higher upside than Naz.

I have a feeling that the Jazz will keep Georges around another year; we'll see. He can contribute to some team, I'm sure.

Georges has been super active in the community as well and seems to fit in well with the team, hoping they stick with him.
