I dont know what to think about ranking 8th graders, but nonetheless, a potential high major recruit coming to the Des Moines metro
2023 is pretty crazy, but everyone I’ve heard from says this kid lives up to the hype. If he ends up as good as some say he can be, he might not even play in college.
The "double draft" is in 2021.
If he is going to be a Top 5-10 kid for 2023, then he is going straight professional.
He is legit. Then again anyone who is 6'7 inches in Iowa in the 8th grade is legit. I have seen so many "Next big things" in 6-8th grade fizzle out because everyone else catches up to them. I remember McDermott got a 2010 recruit (Think it was McDermott) and he committed to us, then he ended up at like North Dakota because he really was not as good at first. Everyone though he was the next Raef and he turned out to just be a decent mid major player.
His teammate kinda looks a little like a younger Fred too.
Was just thinking the same that Bronny James is the same class.....but already holds offers from Duke and UK.
He is Duke's to lose. Lebron Sr. has always said he wanted his kids to play for Coach k
I fully expect LeBron to use his power to push the NBA to remove the one-and-done rule so when Bronny graduates whoever drafts him will also get LeBron.
It would be kind of crazy if K was still coaching then. I believe he is 72 right now.

I agree completely. With the amount of tractions its gaining, I expect the one and done rule to be gone in a couple of years.
AAU coach is a former Cyclone player that loves Iowa State. I will have a good inside source on this one.
