Is there a fan base with thinner skin in America than the Iowa Hawkeyes?

But seriously this is probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Everyone needs to write their state Senator and let them know we're not paying them to work on bill like this.

A good friend of mine is a Stanford grad and doesn't even know they have football let alone a band for football. This is something that 99% of people connected to Stanford don't even know is a thing but we have Iowa legislators waisting time on it.

Sounds like sour grapes for getting their ***es kicked in the Rose bowl. What's worse is they threw ISU into this as well. Who gives a ****, it is a halftime show!
 
So embarassing. Please dont lump us in on that legislature. Iowa fans need to get a sense of humor. I realize that seems like a stretch since your leader Jon D Miller has thinner skin than a spoiled 12 yr old girl and your football coach hasnt laughed at a joke since 2005.
 
At least we have someone that has their head on straight:

I won't lie, ISU fans can get pretty butthurt at times too....anytime a national columnist says something bad about it we go off.


That being said, this is pathetic and who cares if Iowans were stereotyped. You don't think people make weed jokes when we discuss Colorado? Or inbreeding jokes when discussing Arkansas?

I wish our elected official would actually focus on important issues. Not butthurt issues.

Considering this is a duplicate thread and I commented on how pathetic this is in the other one, I didn't feel the urge to do so here.

Except for the 3 respectful ones who all have 2000 plus posts they're all "Cyclone" fans with names like "SuperCloneProhmFan". So maybe they already did chime in but their juvenile disguise fooled you.
 
Let's be clear here, not all, or even half care about this. I was at the Rose Bowl and was dying laughing at how Bizarre this was. When I saw this crap I got more mad about it than I ever could have been about the band.

It appears a lot of people care about it. Educated guess would say 85% of the 35,000 Iowa fans at the Rose Bowl were upset about it. That's a lot
