    Washington DC

    I'm a big fan of Alexandria. Old Town has some great shops, bars, restaurants, and history (especially the bar George Washington drank at & the house where he crashed when he couldn't make it back to Mt. Vernon). It's outside of D.C. proper, but is on the Metro line so you can get into town...

    Breaking: Earthquake Hits East Coast Near DC

    I live just north of Charlottesville (about 30 miles from the epicenter). That was one of the weirdest things I've ever experienced. I seriously thought that a plane had crashed nearby or a truck plowed into my house. Still, my 2 year-old managed to sleep through it!

    I think the most important aspect of his highlight video is that fact that, at about 0:44 you can hear organ music. Organ music at a high school football game? How awesome is that? I so hope they actually have a real organ and it isn't just a recording.

    Slate's "Hang Up and Listen" is a really good sports podcast. For non-sports ones, NPR has some of the best ones I think.

    I agree, but one thing that kills me about this conspiracy theory is that the Insight Bowl is affiliated with the Big 12 and the Big Ten. Why would they spite Nebraska for leaving one of their affiliated conferences for another?
