    Say what you will but I lost all respect for Coach Sampson after the cheating at both Oklahoma and then Indiana. That said, Houston is damned solid, and we fought well. ISU is a really good team.

    The thing about would-haves and could haves, There is no way to know that their careers would have played out similarly. Coach K (or Snyder) might have been a bust or might have seen the success he had at Duke (K State). Nice to dream, but no one will ever know.

    To me, the 5 claps was a hell of a tradition that was fun, respectful, but helped establish the atmosphere of the game, and fun. Adding "you suck" frustrates me, as Cyched said, because it pretty much blows away all of that with frankly, stupidity. But nuance isnt a big thing for a student...

    Dont you know that sites like this are a place where much more accomplished strategists than the coaches talk. I know it is fair to be critical-- that is what a fan is about but with a predominantly freshmen team lets just acknowledge how well they did with the 4th ranked team in the country...

    NOTEBOOK: On Jaylin Noel’s near TD on a kick return that was called back and more from ISU’s 28-21 loss to Kansas

    I know this approaches dead horse beating, but another view of the play at the 31... the Noel foot you are blocked from seeing is his left foot plant, and seeing the (right foot) step before and after are both in and his stride is normal just adds to the now obvious "he did not step out"...
