    1) I don't know the kid or any of the specifics. 2) I hope ISU is not recruiting him. 3) The kid made a huge mistake. Calling him a sexual predator seems like a bit much.

    Agree with this 100%. Now for Real World 101... you don't get scholarships or varsity opportunities for being a great person. Sure, it's a requirement, but it's not the only thing that matters. At the end of the day people need to perform, too... and Dresser knows this. I know quite a few...

    I have lost all faith in our current 197. I’m not sure how you can be a 3x IA state champ coming in, spend 5 yrs training under this staff, and currently be at this level. It is SOOO frustrating.

    Sometimes I think the University forgets they are here to serve Iowans and ensure prosperity of our state (especially as a land-grant). Fast forward 3 years, are we going to have more girls in Iowa wrestling or swimming? What are the upkeep costs on a competitive swimming pool vs a wrestling...

    Iowa's women's program uses the existing facilities next to the men. A brand new, six mat facility should be big enough to house men's and women's wrestling. Regardless of recent success the women's tennis or swimming & diving would be the first to discontinue if I were in charge.
