    TJ’s Weaknesses Exposed Tonight

It seems that the logical solution is to avoid getting big leads in the first place. Ha! But really, with Missouri and the last 12 minutes last night, there is a pretty striking blueprint on how to rattle and beat us. Sagging Lipsey's defender to the middle of the lane is going to be come the...

    Roku Firestick or Chromecast

I have 8 TVs with various versions of the FireStick on them, up to a few of the 4K version. I had one older Roku stick. I have not used any newer Roku devices, so maybe the UI has been updated, but based on my experience, I prefer the UI on the FireStick. I have had zero issues with streaming...

    Big 12 FB Viewership Numbers

I agree. There are a few very thorough/detailed articles on this very topic on the sicem365 website.

    Big 12 FB Viewership Numbers

I also wonder if those average viewership numbers are being skewed by the EPSN+/B12 Network numbers not being included in the averages. That would eliminate our bottom feeder games, while the B10 bottom feeder games on the B10 network would count against them.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

But it is cherry picking. If you were going to makes long term investment in something, you’d absolutely take historical performance into account, as well as try to understand the reasons for recent anomalous growth and the likelihood of that growth being sustained/chances if it reverting to...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Sure, we’re those things if you cherry pick our best/most anticipated season ever. But if you look at us historically, we’re not in the top 40 for TV ratings. That’s what other people see….one step away (losing CMC) from going back to relative obscurity.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

I agree with everything you wrote. I just hate to see ISU fans be complicit in the "X school has no redeeming value" position. It was and is used to describe us, and it sucks.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

I know nothing about OSU, so I can’t comment on them. I get what you’re saying and I don’t want to quibble too much, but fan base support is more than simply attendance at events. We’ve certainly had lean years when the team lacked the current success. Their football stadium only holds ~35K...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

100% agree with WSU. They are not that different than ISU fans. I lived in Seattle for 12 years. The UW-WSU rivalry is very much like the UI-ISU rivalry, except UW fans are a bit more like NU fans…”entitled” to success because they had some success in the early ‘90s. They also thumb their noses...

    ISU viewer increase

Many people in here have also been similarly dismissive of other schools in the PAC 12, which is unfortunate and disappointing to read. We don’t like it when outsiders say ISU has nothing to offer, so we should try to refrain from similar cursory analyses of other, similarly-situated schools.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

I don’t know why people keep saying they’re not worried about the ACC. Their current deal doesn’t preclude them from trying to add teams.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Sure, but my original point is I don’t want to slow play anything wrt the P12 teams. Get what we can now, before something goes awry and we lose that opportunity. If there’s opportunity to add other teams down the road if the ACC implodes, which is more likely if we take away options now, then...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Grant of rights and TV contracts are separate. They could add teams and renegotiate their exiting TV contract without affecting their current GOR. This is why they want to add ND…to move that needle.
