    I would say you don't know that for certain. At the end of the day the slection and seeding is done through a series of ballots, and you never know what may influence individual votes. You hope they don't let AP and Coaches poll influence them but you never know.

    I think that's the point. They aren't trying to drive demand during off peak times, they are trying to maximize profit when people are more likely to pay more to eat.

    Sure, we are probably a 2 seed (maybe a 1) if that happens. But what if we drop one of our remaining games and only win one game in the conference tournament? I don't think most people are assuming best case scenario like you just laid out.

    Pretty sure there are rules against athletes paying their own way to circumvent scholarship limits, but I could be wrong with as frequently as the rules are changing.

    Couldn't a donor just step up and pay for Ava to go to school if it meant another year for CC? Seems like an obvious solution if that is really the only thing standing in the way of CC coming back.

    Please, enlighten me Mr. "dumb button". What are these disastrous consequences? None of them have manifested themselves yet despite assurances they will for years now. I figured you would have given up on college sports now since it's destruction is so certain. Why are you wasting your time?

    Practically I'm not sure it changes much since we basically had pay for play already under the guise of NIL from the collectives. This just allows them to do away with the pretense it's not pay for play.
