    Just saw Ames Lager at the Fareway west of 156th and Hickman in Clive/Waukee. I'm an IPA guy but pick up the lager periodically.

    Was pretty busy when it opened years ago. Hurt by lots of new competition and not having much for food options. You'd really only go if you were good with beer only. And obviously not a place to bring the family.

    Yeah, a segment of hawk fans literally can't help themselves. They will belittle Cyclone fans any chance they get. They'll retain their superiority complex their entire lives. It was ingrained at a young age.

    Correct. Grew up in South Bend and return almost annually. The town is quite industrial and blue collar. ND campus is great but rest of area not so much. The money spent at ND is unbelievable.
