    Great question. I don't see lumber, building materials, and the overall cost of building coming down anytime soon (at least a year or two). I do think that they will eventually come down though, I'm just not sure it will ever get back to where it was a couple years ago.

    I own a small lumber yard in Northern Iowa and $300/sqft might be on the lower end. It also obviously depends on the plan and materials you choose.
