    I don't think so. Part of the reason Johnny came to us was that Michigan's juggernaut football team so over-shadowed basketball, that he had to get out of football's shadow.

    I think if we down a couple of threes early, our chances become very good. If we miss those threes, Houston packs the lane and it could become a problem. Play loose and have fun will do it!

    If you like the college game you should stop by Ames, Iowa and pick up an Iowa State game. Spend three to four hours tailgating before kickoff wearing 49er's colors or a Purdy jersey, and you will have more food and friends than you can handle.

    Do people think that a quarterback is only a Game Manager or a Playmaker? I think they have to be a combination of both. It is hard for a NFL quarterback to be better than average at both skills and it's rare for someone to be great at both but I think that's what we are looking at here...

    I can agree with this. I have a nephew who was offered a chance to go to West Point to wrestle. He declined and went to Iowa State like his dad and two uncles. The fact his dad was in the Navy probably had very little impact on his decision.

    On That Note: My Favorite Part

    I've always had a slight hearing problem. When I hear The Dave Clark Five's Glad All Over, what I hear beginning at 1:07 is: "Other girls may try to take me away, take me away; but you know it's by your side IOWA STATE! IOWA STATE!" Still does and I still love the Dave Clark Five for it.
