    Not saying I don't want the Big 12 to stay together, but the Mountain West has a TV network, although I don't think they cover all games like the BTN does, and it's not very widely available. As for the Big East, don't they have a big deal with EPSN?

    Actually I think the prices are $8 and $11. At least they were when I went a couple weeks ago. Includes everything--all you can eat--AND a drink. Well worth the price.

    It's like a combination of HuHot, King Buffet, and Golden Corral. And it's just as good as that sounds. I've been longing for a HuHot in Ames for years, but this is even better. I highly recommend it.

    Atmosphere at JTS

    First half against K-State in '99 was the greatest atmosphere I've seen at JTS. We were still a year away from winning our first bowl game, KSU was in their heyday with Bill Snyder, and we were up by three touchdowns at halftime. Then KSU scored four unanswered touchdowns to win the game...

    I think "momentum" is overstating it a bit, but consider this: I think I heard on the TV broadcast last night that we've lost seven games versus ranked opponents by seven points or less. We're not pushovers. We'll make you work for a win, and as we showed last night, we just might actually beat...

    Martin gets a bad rap for no apparent reason. It's seems no one in this thread can offer up a good reason for disliking him, but there are plenty of reasons to respect him. If we truly are the classy fanbase we claim to be, we ought to be more gracious to him and all of our opponents.
