    Diamond Head Classic 2013

    Just confirmed while watching Miami vs. Hawaii that we are in the 2013 field. The field includes us, George Mason, Oregon State, South Carolina, Hawaii, St. Mary's with teams 7&8 to be announced. Sounds like a solid tournament for us to participate in, looking forward to it!

    After the first real opponent, what do you think?

    This team will be completely fine. They are in good hands. Everyone doubted the team last year when we took a loss in the Knapp Center. A loss on a neutral court to a ranked opponent isn't anything to worry about. KL and WC will find their groove, just takes time to shed the rust.

    I would like to have the QB that can throw and run. Keep the defense honest. We have that in JT and Barnett.

    Re: Herman to Texas State? The only concern with Leach is his background (why he was fired) and at TTU his QB's were pocket passers, Tiller and Barnett are not pocket passers. Otherwise, he would be a great fit, and he might do it if he would want to get back into college football.

    Herman to Texas State? Rumors are getting heavier about Herman going to be the next head football coach at Texas State. I also have a source very close to this reporting this is true. Who would be a replacement for Herman?

    Oklahoma is normally a dominance we all know, and their fans won't agree with me here. If we were in there position we would die to come out with 6 wins in the South.

    My edits are in bold. I see us being a six win football team, and that still may be a little off the deep end. But also I thought this year we would win at most 5 games, keep impressing CPR!

    Chizik brings in talent + Rhoads trains talent = Success. I honestly Chizik is fit for the defensive coordinating position. We should have left him at Texas and had him take over there program. :yes:
