    Final Four - How Does Your Bracket Look?

    This has been one of my best years bracket-wise. I had 7 of the 8 elite teams (I put Murray St. in there), and 3/4 of the Final 4 (had UNC over KU). I'm in first place in a pool of 50+ people, and will win a couple hundred bucks if I get Kentrucky over OSU in the finals. Fingers are crossed....

    Has anyone else called 911?

    Olathe isn't exactly the same as KC, MO. I've called 911 a couple times in Johnson County Kansas. Once in Lenexa for a car wreck outside my house and once in Overland Park when I accidentally called from work due to fat finger dialing. In both cases my call was answered almost immediately.

    Not sure that all vehicles do this, but my Grand Caravan will display the codes on the odomoter if you cycle the key between "Off" and "Acc" 3 times fast, then just google the code(s) you get.

    MU curators said they want to have an "invitational basketball tournament" hosted by MU in KC, and an MU football game at Arrowhead against a "regional rival". Whatever.... I hope KU tells them to get lost.

    Fescoe used to do the morning show on 810 a few yearsago then left for St. Louis sports radio and got fired there. He come back to KC and work for 610. Anybody who has listened to him knows you can take anything he says with a grain of salt. He is an idiot.

    58-56 CU. Pullen was fouled with 3.9 seconds left and KSU down by 3. He made the first and intentionally missed the 2nd, and CU didn't get the rebout. KSU got the ball out of bounds with 1.1 seconds left. Don't know who their guy was that "hit" the last shot, but it was a turn around 3 a...

    anybody else just see that? K-state thinks they won on a last second shot only to have it called off, and it was CLOSE.

    Agreed. It may not cross any lines, but that doesn't make it a good idea. You'd think if these were serious journalism students who aspire to work for "real world" newspapers some day they'd start work on being more professional. I doubt a real newspaper would run a photo like that. But...

    My take is that this balances out the bogus call at the Phog six or so years ago where the refs gave KU a bucket while ISU was still owed one free throw. Still can't believe they let that stand.

    Recommend listening to 810 WHB

    I personally think Kietzman does a great job. He's a KSU grad, but I really don't think he shows them any more favor than the other area schools. In fact, some times I think he's harder on KSU than the others. Just my opinion.
