I would like to add this. Most posters seem to forget that Bubu did not major in African American Studies in college. He received a BS degree in Finance. If money was his motivation I am sure he could earn more than $25000 with a finance degree from ISU.
that medical evidence was not enough to convince the administrative judge that Bubu was guilty of student misconduct. After all, Leath made his determination based on the findings of that judge.
I agree with you it is pretty bold to go after the accuser in the sexual assault case unless you feel confident about what you can prove. Bubu however does not have to agree with everything(civil lawsuit) his lawyer is telling him to do. He could have kept quiet and move to Colorado State...
If your attorney is correct how can he explain the fact that the iowa supreme court denied the BOR request to overturn the judge decision to reinstate bubu to the team?
Re: Bubu back again
No judge can force CFH to play bubu. His lawyer mentioned in the Ames tribune that" Playing time is up to the coach." Fred however has the power to suspend Bubu from the team if he does something wrong.(violation of team rules).
Mrs Harkin did not participate in the vote to deny Bubu's appeal to the BOR. She was not present at the December 04th meeting. Remember we have 9 members in the BOR and it was stated that all 8 board members present at the meeting voted against Bubu.
Go read Randy Peterson interview(twitter) where Bubu mentioned he has been practicing during his dismissal with Jack Sullivan in Ankeny(Kindgom Hoops).
Agree 100%. If the president had made the decision to dismiss on time, Bubu could have transferred to another school. ISU wanted Bubu to stay and graduate so it would not affect the school APR. Otherwise I cannot explain the delay. The President can decide who can represent ISU but he cannot...
agree 100% . Why bubu sue coach Fred? he is not the one who dismissed him from the team. Don't you guys think Fred was upset about the timing? if he could have used Bubu scholarship for MacKey or someone else if Leath did not take an extra 7 days to make his decision.
What you said is incorrect. It was an administrative law judge who found that the ISU complaint was not founded. Then the office of judicial affairs appealed that decision to President Leath. Till now every time someone outside( ISU or BOR )looked at the evidence they sided with...
Well said. we have convicted players(Albert Gary) who are allowed to represent ISU and Bubu was not convicted(charges were dropped by prosecution) of anything. Then ISU decided that Bubu cannot represent the school. That's is double standard.
