    This is ridiculous. Hand timed forties are always 0.2 seconds faster, for reasons of visual timing difference and cheating. To say that college athletes (working their tails off for four years) are slower than they were coming in, is absurd

    I have tons of high school friends and acquaintances that go to both schools, and in terms of being in shape or overweight or whatever, there's really no distinction to be made. People in IC are traditionally in very good shape, never spent as much time in Ames, but I bet it's the same there...
