CRTC Big 12 Championships Fundraiser
Time to resurrect the fundraiser for 2024 Big 12 tournament!!! $10 per qualifier, $25 per champ, $200 for a Big 12 team title. Who's in? I think the funds could go to Cardinal & Gold Collective or CRTC. Whichever is your preference. I think we are going to need some NIL dollars this year... -

My guess is Carr probably won't get #1 seed in almost any scenerio. If he beats O'Toole, and Messenbrink goes undefeated, Messenbrink will get #1 seed and Carr get the #2 seed. If O'Toole wins Big 12's, O'Toole gets #1 and Messenbrink gets #2 and Carr #3. Only chance of Carr getting #1 is... -

I talked to a Mizz parent and they don't understand the 125 forfeit. Sounds like there were parents and some fans that were in Columbia this morning and would of brought a 125 to Ames. Sounds like they didn't want to put in the effort -

Maybe they are playing a mental game with us. Everyone is let down, some of the crowd decides not to show up because a bunch of backups are wrestling. The team is not motivated because they aren't getting the guy they wanted. Then boom, the Mizz starters walk in at noon tomorrow for weigh in!!! -

I just am in favor of giving the seeding advantage to the guy that put it out there almost every week. I have no problem if Ramirez gets a bad draw at NCAA. I would have more problem with him getting a favorable draw and Carr getting a bad draw. For the most part, Iowa State has put it on... -

I thought for the NCAA qualifying tournament, use the record of the starter the team sent out at their 17 (I think) events or the record of against the teams in the qualifying events. Only problem with that is you don't wrestle everyone. We wrestled all the top teams and not sure Northern... -

IHSAA State Wrestling 2024
Hard to be fair. Look at 2A at 190. 2nd place at State was Ben Bryant of North Polk ( got 2nd at Roland Story District) 3rd place at State was Brody Sampson of Ballard (got 1st at Roland Story District) Gaige Allen of Humboldt was 39-2 and ranked 3rd in the state, I think. Got 3rd at Roland... -

So rank the top 10 wrestlers at State Tournament I would assume 1 is Ross 2 is Herrera Who after that? Knaack, Pearson, Fox, Stangel, Blume, Muller, Voinovich, ???
