    IHSAA State Wrestling 2024

    State wrestling needs to go back to 16 man brackets and only the top 6 place. Have sectionals and districts again. No more exciting time in high school wrestling than the last four weeks of Conferences, sectionals, districts and then state.

    I disagree whole heartedly. A Natty is hard enough...a multiple time natty is rarified air and only a select few in our sport have accomplished it. 5x conference champ, though neat, will not carry more or even the same prestige as a 3x national finalist, 2x national champ.

    Gilbertville has one school. It's not one of the towns that has multiple schools in it. 90% of the kids who go to Bosco grew up in Gilbertville. They're just damn good at wrestling. Plus they all like to party...and I like to party too! Haha
