What would cause TJ to move?

There could be a fair amount of openings in the Big10: Michigan, OSU. MSU and Indian. Only one of those is open so far, but those other schools have hit rock bottom and change is needed. I don't think TJ will leave any time soon, but the program does need more money Big12 (coach, upgrades and NIL)

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

You don't think Freeman is going to be good? He has been freshman of the week 8 times. Harding, both Sanfort's and a couple transfers they could be a nice team with some depth.

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

Harding-Fr' Freeman-Fr Dix(verdict still out)-SO P Sandfor(FR) Freeman is the star out of all of them and will only get better from year 1 to year 2. That core could be solid going forward.

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

$12MM is a lot for 2021-2022, I bet that is top 10 in the nation at that time. Don't think for second that OSU wouldn't spend if it needed to. In the past month OSU/NIL have done the following: $14MM buyout for Holtman, $1.5MM buyout for Chip (salary is $4MM a year for OC), just took the AD...

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

The young talent they have at Iowa is guys that dreamed of playing at Iowa, so I don't expect Iowa to lose much. The problem is their lack of success at transfers. As I said, if Iowa can get 1-2 solid transfers they could compete at high level in the Big10.

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

Fore sure-McD should never leave Creighton. OSU went the young route with Holtman and that failed. Lamont Paris will be the next head coach at OSU. Ohio guy, played ball in Ohio, knows Ohio recruiting, and Big10 guy.

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

Creighton is not a better job than Ohio State. OSU has money just falling out of the sky and a rich tradition of success. It's the 7th largest state and flush with talent. Doesn't compete with in-state schools and OSU brand is recognized throughout the US. OSU is a f'ing machine and it's bigger...

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

Fran has wore out his welcome in IC, so I think most Hok fans are ready to move on. On the flip side, I think he might have a decent team next year. The Big10 is down and will struggle next year, too. I think Iowa could compete in the conference and be tourney team. They have some solid young...

    TJ and Ref

You would think Hoiberg would have gotten calls if this theory was true. Looks like Iowa has a pretty high FTA per game the last 4-5 seasons: https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/free-throws-attempted-per-game?date=2024-02-13

    ***Official Super Bowl Game Thread***

There was a couple plays where if the o-line held up there could have been a big play. The biggest one was OT at 7:28 mark(3rd down play) where Aiyuk was wide open in the back of the endzone, but no one blocked Chris Jones to Purdy had no time to set his feed and throw.
