Thanks to three seniors!!

Regardless of how you view this years basketball team, you have to say THANKS to three seniors who worked hard and represented I State this year. They may have been short on talent, but you knew you would get their best effort from them.
Thanks guys, and the best of luck to you three, and thanks for being a Cyclone!!

It was an interresting season, But i enjoyed every second of it. Im going to miss all three of these guys :( No matter winning or losing i loved watching this team play. This is a season i will probably never foreget for some odd reason but it was fun!
 
No doubt they gave 100% all the time. Probably not the most athletic group of seniors to ever come out of Iowa State, but they worked extra hard. Thanks guys.
 
I do thank these three for their effort in every game and I am happy they are cyclones but I really do believe that this team just got better because they can't play another minute. Plain and simiple addition by subtraction. I am going to get reamed for saying this but I think some of they younger guys were able to make a lot more plays good and bad.
 
They played hard, you can't deny that. I still think Petey will make a better impact on the sidelines instead of on the court. That guy "gets it" and will thrive in coaching, IMO.

Agree 100%. Petey's basketball smarts will still be with us.

I agree, minutes that other players will get next year.

This is the only year Greg started all the seniors...he didn't start Jessan Gray and Chris Ceaser 2 years ago, and he didn't start Mike Smith and Mark Currie last year. I think it's only right to start the seniors no matter what. Kind of ironic he didn't start some of Morgan's players in their last home game....
 
I thank the Seniors also. We didn't get enough W's but I still tip my hat to them for doing something I never could.

you have played ur hearts out every time you have been on the floor and no matter what anyone says you will be missed
 
I think I will simply remember their effort in the Tech game and pass on the other crap being tossed around(addition by subtraction and all that).

Yep......those kids played their butts off, and that's pretty much all I can ask. Petey may not be the guy you pick first on the playground, but not picking him would be a mistake. His contributions will be hard to replace.

Kind of sad that the program has stooped to this low of a level...
