It's Houston's title to lose now. UH still has to play at Kansas. I don't like this at all.

They have to play at Baylor, at Oklahoma, and home against KU.

They have a tougher schedule left than we do. Our toughest games are behind us, but there is no gimmes.

Complaining aside, I feel better tonight than I did before the game. We went toe to toe with a top 2 team in the nation and didn’t blink. We can play with anyone.

They didn’t play their best yet would have hung with any team on a neutral court and blasted average teams.

Gonna be tough. Two teams that are mirror images. Cyclone guards have to play really well.
To have a chance, stay close in rebounds, make >75% FTs, knock down 7-8 3's.

Well, beat them on the boards, including offensive RBs, shot well from 3, but turned it over too much and didn't turn them over nearly enough. And Shead was great. Hell of an effort.

Tamin obviously didn't play well, but got absolutely beat up, especially running into picks. Saw him holding his shoulder. Might need to hold him out vs WVU.

Yep, Houston made a few more plays and was the better team tonight. But this was a game of two great teams.

While I think UConn is the best team, Houston isn’t that far behind.

This ISU team is legit.

Anyone who watched that game is not going to come away thinking ISU doesn't deserve its ranking. We fought and hung with arguably the best team in the country on the road. It didn't go our way tonight but they showed well.

100%. Nothing to hang our heads about after tonight.

The number 2 team needed an extra 17 FT attempts to beat us by 8….

Kstate losing tonight was big. The more they and UCF keep losing, they both should be out of tourney contention and not in desperation mode when we play them on the road.

Felt like Houston was locked in and wanted this one and we went toe to toe with them. That Houston team is really good and I think we are very deserving of our ranking
