I’m interested in this as well. Any chance IPTV would stream finals?

IPTV doesn't have the rights to boys sports. They haven't aired a boys state championship since wrestling in 2002. The biggest misconception in this state is that IPTV has covered high school sports for years and years when it's simply not true. IPTV hasn't aired a football championship game since 1985 and they've never had a contract to televise boys basketball. They had wrestling for years yes but not since 2002. IPTV started airing girls sports about 10 years ago. Before that the only girls sport IPTV televised was volleyball in the late 80's and 90's.

Except they didn't. That was all IHSSN/Krogman.

The IHSAA can't wait for that TV contract to expire, now that IHSSN is charging for a bunch more content than before. And yet, the Association is the one somehow taking the heat for the Network's decision(s).
Who gave the rights to the IHSSN?

Love the view of the hall of fame inductions. People standing right in front of the camera or you get a view of outside.

Whelp, that blows and valid since I haven’t lived in Iowa since 2003.

Thank you information!

You skipped a step. The Association sold the rights to the Network. The Network (not the Association) then took those rights, turned around, and made their own deal with NBC Chicago.

The Boone boys did give up the rights though. Why use the middle man?

The Association didn't make any deals with NBC Chicago, no matter how much you want to blame them for something they didn't do.

The Network (Krogman) thought they could get a sweetheart deal with a bigger reach by going to NBC Chicago. That failed miserably.

Why does IHSSN have the rights to the broadcasts? I would think it’s the association who would have them? Odd that the sponsoring body would not have rights to their own produc.

What weight is Carver? Was trying to remember off top of my head, while watching 3rd grade girls bb
