Often when "bigs"/post players come to college, they are kind of raw. Many of them "grew" into that position later in high school and they haven't played the position long enough to develop the position skills to the level that players at other positions have.TJ’s message to the bigs before Saturday better be dunk the damn ball lol. That said, ISU seems to struggle more on offense at that position relative to its conference peers, and has since back to the later Hoiberg years.
The college schedule is intense, and there isn't much time to work on "developmental" things in practice once the season gets into swing. Hopefully ISU can tweak a few things to help those guys cash in those points around the hoop.
