I've been saying all along, Coach Z >>> Coach K.

I think Coach Z IS Coach K, you just don't find that basketball IQ anywhere.

I love Coach Otz so much. And how about Hilton Freaking Magic. How cool is it that we have one of the most iconic things in all of college basketball. Johnny Orr was such a godsend. I truly believe that TJ will lead us to the Final 4, and quite possibly even a natty. And maybe as early as this year.

Coach K is certainly not the most polished interviewer, but very, very cool to hear. You could tell that Coach K has respect for not only TJ but Iowa State as a whole.

Coach K mentioned it on the interview. In 1980, ISU interviewed him before Duke’s interview. I believe that we had not offered him the job before he flew to Durham.
