Just saw that Indiana’s leading scorer went out with an injury after 3 minutes played. Yikes Hawkeyes.
The new NIT rules are awful. I actually liked the tourney because it was fun to see good mid majors compete but now they wanna fill the tourney up with crappy p6 teams.
Perkins won't be leaving Iowa after this season. I don't buy that for a minute. His attitude and demeanor encapsulates all that is Mad Fran ball.
However I could see him wind up at a West Virginia or Texas Tech just to see if he can stick it to Iowa State one last time with the help of better athletes (see J. Toussaint)

Doesn't seem like there are any ball handlers in the B1G. Even the most basic press makes them struggle.
I checked my score app and saw that they were up 68-66, then checked a minute or two later and saw that they lost 74-68. The collapse must have been funny.

Indiana's guards looked stupid slow against a terrible defense last night. Average guard play can get to the rim against Iowa.

I'll give them early 90s too. There was a blip in '01/02 where they made the title game as a 5 seed.
Otherwise Indiana is Nebraska football. The glory years are long gone.
And keep in mind that those numbers are only that high because they bought a ton of wins in the non-con.
