He's gone for it on 4th down while winning almost 30 times this year, getting a 1st down or scoring on 62 percent of those tries. Thats good.

Meanwhile Detroits FG kickers only kicked FIVE FGs during the season of distances over 40 yards, going 4 of 5. It would have been a 45 yard fg which is no gimmie, and from the inside hash. Given the Lions percentages and how this game was unraveling I think it was the right call. At worst it wasn't a bad call, as you arw saying.
