Lamar Jackson will get blamed.
Yeah, it's already been decided and will be announced before the Superbowl. It's supposed to be MVP for the regular season, although this year it will be MVP for the Christmas Day game.Is it already decided? I'm mean once the playoffs start there isn't any precedence of the leader not winning?
Well it's a regular season award and the voting is over, so that'd definitely be unprecedented. Is it already decided? I'm mean once the playoffs start there isn't any precedence of the leader not winning?
I know you guys are going to die on this hill, but the idea that nobody is going to blame this loss on Jackson is wild.If Purdy had a game like this and they lost today he’d be mercilessly blamed as if he were the only player on the team. It’s two different realities.
Of course not. Only Purdy can be blame for team’s loss. Jackson carried his team to the Super BowlSo Lamar is the undisputed MVP, right?
Not really interested in hating on the guy, but I guess if he’s the MVP, this loss is his fault?
Is it really? I wouldn't be surprised to hear a few comments about Lamar making some mistakes, more about Flowers fumble, and even more about Mahomes/Kelce being the reason the game went the way it did.I know you guys are going to die on this hill, but the idea that nobody is going to blame this loss on Jackson is wild.
So there will be comments about Jackson's mistakes? That's pretty much in line with my expectations. He didn't lose the game alone, and the Chiefs also played well, so all those comments would be valid. Is it really? What does it have anything to do with Jackson’s poor performance. Even though Purdy brought his team back in rain, it didn’t matter to national media.Baltimore didn’t show up at all. Kelce was in their head even BEFORE the kickoff. Masterful mind games by Kelce, then he comes in and bats .1000 on top of that.
He was the most important reason Ravens lost today. So there will be comments about Jackson's mistakes? That's pretty much in line with my expectations. He didn't lose the game alone, and the Chiefs also played well, so all those comments would be valid.
If Purdy’s line against GB was brutal, Jackson’s numbers are even more brutalYa his stat line was brutal.
He was the most important reason Ravens lost today.
The whole week most "pundits" spent their air time talking about how the 49ers won in spite of Purdy. Pretty sure it won't be anything like that for Lamar, even though both guys did good and bad things in these games. So there will be comments about Jackson's mistakes? Correct, you think nobody will say as much?He was the most important reason Ravens lost today.
Alex Smith just this morning spent a good deal of time praising Purdy and his play. On live tv no less. The whole week most "pundits" spent their air time talking about how the 49ers won in spite of Purdy.
