When I saw him during the KSU game first thing that came to mind was Bill Hader and now the more I look he seems like a combo of both.

Wrong. A few years ago a prominant KC sports radio host got **** for being in the front row and taunting a KState player.
There is definitely a formula of a comedic expressive face there.
I’d love it if we get him on video boards vs ksu the next few years. He did nothing wrong, just exposed some of the most fragile snowflakes in the galaxy.
Some brilliant marketing going on and I don’t know if it’s intentional or not. But the Jim Carrey thing is an awesome, side show attraction to the game. Dancing cop is Hillarious. Make Hilton an entire event/show and market it as such. Soon you get everyone tuning into ISU games to see good basketball and to see whats going to happen - kind of the Taylor Swift/ Chiefs effect.
Went to the Puerto Rico tourney that got moved to Myrtle Beach. I harassed the one coach the entire game about sitting down and the coaching box, he gave me a couple of death stares, but I wasn't swearing nothing he could do about it. I like to think I broke his concentration a little bit.

The great thing about our fan base 99.9% of the time is we are only feisty about on the court stuff and are courteous (ar least not harassing) toward the visiting fan base.

Isn't a selfie when you take a picture of yourself? If another person is in the picture it would be called... ummm... something other than selfie.
When I was leaving today my brother nudged me and whispered, "Hey I think that's our Jim Carrey," not quite quiet enough. He turned around and winked. Said, "There's worse things to go viral for. If they want to hammer me for being a fan so be it!"

I think so too but if you hold the camera yourself and are in the photo people seem to still call it that.
The best part is that when Self got his T, the tv camera panned to Jim Carey, and he’s dancing and bouncing around while eating something. Absolutely incredible

Been to several and they are worse. Boo every call that doesn't go their way which isn't very often. The officiating is worse in person also. KU can make contact like they're playing football, and the visiting teams get called for every tic tac foul. Larry got booted at a game I attended years ago. I followed him out the door because I couldn't watch it anymore either.
What made this even greater was that there was no announcement or fanfare. You sensed some extra energy during Juicy Wiggle and then see this police officer on the floor leading the dance. Extraordinary.
Pretty sure when they cut to commercial, one of the broadcasters said "alrighty then". Definitely not a coincidence.
