I'm very optimistic he will be a player for ISU if he keeps a positive attitude and continues to work on his game. It's a very tough game to play underneath the basket against Big XII defenses. You have to know how to receive a pass. You have to be able to hold the ball without getting it stripped. And you have to be able to absorb contact and finish on offense. I believe those are skills he can acquire but doesn't have yet.Which makes it so odd that he isn’t contributing at all. I figured he would be a starter averaging about 10 and 4 a game. Obviously that was way too high of expectations, but that isn’t unheard of at all for a 5 star player either.
