Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Which makes it so odd that he isn’t contributing at all. I figured he would be a starter averaging about 10 and 4 a game. Obviously that was way too high of expectations, but that isn’t unheard of at all for a 5 star player either.
I'm very optimistic he will be a player for ISU if he keeps a positive attitude and continues to work on his game. It's a very tough game to play underneath the basket against Big XII defenses. You have to know how to receive a pass. You have to be able to hold the ball without getting it stripped. And you have to be able to absorb contact and finish on offense. I believe those are skills he can acquire but doesn't have yet.

Did Francis have his usual blowup today or was he sedated?

I think they’ll sneak into the tourney. Bottom of that conference is pretty weak and their shooting will win them most of the home games. They’d have to get a heck of a draw to win a game in the dance though.

I don't know. They have very little wiggle room. Their last 7 games will be tough for them and I could easily see them going 2-5 in that stretch alone. They already have 7 losses. I can't see them getting in with 13 or 14 losses with their strength of schedule.

Iowa’s most difficult game in the next 7 is Ohio State at home. They are 50 in the NET. Road games are all at teams that are 90+ in NET. Unbelievable.
