If they don’t play tomorrow, it’s not getting rescheduled Sunday, it will get rescheduled a few weeks from now. Probably on a random Thursday in February or something

Why wouldn't Oklahoma State come in last night? That's just stupidity. Now we are going to be stuck inside all weekend with no game to watch.

Looking back on the tragedies at Oklahoma State, it isn't "stupid" to be cautious.

Re-scheduling flights, buses, hotels, meals on like a 1-day notice. Plus making the whole team sit around a hotel for 2 days before playing the game. Probably not worth it. OSU likely would rather just re-schedule the game than have to travel here 2 days early.

I would guess staffing etc. is also tough.

Absolutely. Grew up rural and when the ditches became packed, then it didn't take anything to make the roads a pain to drive on. In fact it became worse in Feb. with a higher sun as it melts anything blowing across the road and then re-freezes at dusk. Black ice a huge problem.

Cautious of today and tomorrow. Like IU at Iowa their charter carrier may not have been able to get a plane for them to arrive yesterday.

I can certainly understand not wanting to come in today or even tommorrow l, but they could have proactively came in early yesterday. We've known about these systems for over a week now, it's not like a derecho just popped up.

I understand that, just seems like universities would have contingency plans for this type of stuff, especially for winter sports in the northern part of the country instead of jsut waiting until the last minute and hoping for the best.

It rarely happens, so if it does, they just reschedule for a later date. There is no reason to try and squeeze it in short notice during a blizzard.

The Vikings and Giants played in Detroit the very next day after the Metronome collapsed in 2010. That's a traveling party of over 100 instead of about 20 and they were able to make it work without any issues.

So now we'll have to play like 3 games in 4 days type of deal in late February. That will probably work wonders for our defensive effort and intensity we need to compete.

exactly. Why they didn't plan here is a little crazy. Should have been here last night and everyone and their dog could figure that out just by looking at the forecast. Now, even if they do make it, there will be dangerous roads to navigate today
