That was the statement used with Jacob Park.
All sorts of gifted football abilities if you didn't go above the shoulder/neck area.

Who is this from?
Me too, but it's also annoying to see ISU fans not being able to be somewhat objective about something just because it involves the U of I. And vice versa of course. She seems like a really good person and she's a good student so I wish any young person the best just based on that. She's the kind of person I'd want my daughter looking up to. I couldn't care less if she's a Hok.I hate when I see ISU fans simping over some Hok player because they're from the state of Iowa, or claim rooting for them is "good for the state".
Newsflash: Hok fans never do the same for ISU athletes, so **** them, **** their school, **** all their athletes, **** all their overblown pat themselves on their back "traditions", etc.
We were always talking about college here.So you are only looking at Diana’s collegiate work? You want to ignore the 3 time WNBA championships, the 6 time Euro League championships, the 7 time Russian League Championships, the 5 gold medals, 3 World Cup titles, and we haven’t even touched the personal awards yet.
Diana is considered the best women’s basketball player because she wins titles. Could CC be that successful in her career? Quite possibly. But it is WAY too early to know for sure.
And your argument is just like why Purdy shouldn’t be considered a great QB: he is surrounded by talent. So I guess you don’t think much about Purdy, too

In lower right, somebody I have never heard from "Clutchpoints"Who is this from?
Maybe that’s the point. Comparing her to MJ and Tiger may be a little premature. Don’t you think? We were always talking about college here.
Looks like they are in Los Angeles. In lower right, somebody I have never heard from "Clutchpoints"
We were? So why were there shared tweets in this thread comparing CC with MJ and Tiger? We were always talking about college here.
I have actually always been a Purdy fan as an individual. I’ll admit I root for ISU to lose but I’m able to root for certain players in the league (Purdy, Lazard, Montgomery mostly). I also will never root for an injury to an ISU player. It was really weird to see the unbridled venom when Purdy dominated last year.
Almost every twitter thread about the record shattering start of his career would have a few obsessively angry posts and sure enough, Hawkeye fans.
I’ll also admit it’s dumb to compare CC to MJ and Lebron but it’s also dumb to ignore she’s elevated the profile of women’s college basketball.Maybe that’s the point. Comparing her to MJ and Tiger may be a little premature. Don’t you think?
Here’s a question then, two of those three players won Nattys in college. Which one is not like the others?Maybe that’s the point. Comparing her to MJ and Tiger may be a little premature. Don’t you think?
I was unaware that Tiger won a natty. Not a golf fan. I am pretty confident that CC will never be a household name like those two though. Here’s a question then, two of those three players won Nattys in college. Which one is not like the others?
She's elevated women's basketball more than any one woman has possibly ever. Regardless of how it ends up for her she has had a remarkable amateur career. She's seems to be a good person too. I don't get why/how some in our fanbase get so mad because she's popular. Of all the things in the world to get worked up over.I was unaware that Tiger won a natty. Not a golf fan. I don’t think it is all her. I think it is the media that compares her to MJ and Tiger, which we all can agree is ridiculous. She's elevated women's basketball more than any one woman has possibly ever. This, x 1,000,000Iowa is a rival. She plays for Iowa. It's not rocket science. It's OK to not like or cheer for players who play for your rival.
I think it’s the part where Cyclone fans feel the need to scold other Cyclone fans (and regurgitate crazy exaggerated unquantifiable claims, etc) for not actively and publicly rooting for or caring to constantly discuss/review/advocate for a rival athlete or athletic program…She's elevated women's basketball more than any one woman has possibly ever. That last sentence is troubling. The simple sight of seeing an Iowa game on tv shouldn’t ruin your family night. This, x 1,000,000
This whole “she’s sent from God level of talent..the MJ for women…you just HAVE to be in awe!..single handedly changing a generation of girls!” - FFS, she scores lots of points and shoots long 3 pointers, in an age where literally every SINGLE thing is viewable online INSTANTANEOUSLY (including 1A Iowa High School basketball games). There’s a strong list of truly great and legendary women’s players over the decades that have gotten the level of exposure their whole career that she gets in a freaking weekend.
And critically, she’s a suckeye. I wish her nothing but the best in life, happiness, success, etc. On the court/field/whatever though - for ANY athlete that wears a a suckeye uniform, I have nothing but ill (sports/competitive related) wishes. I want them to literally lose every single game they ever play, in every single sport. For all time. ANY day that they win (in anything), their win is a stain on that day. Absolutely f***ing f*** iowa athletics. We were eating out as a family on Friday night and all the TV’s had the Rutgers game on; it seriously made us not hungry.
